This is the recipe my mother makes!
This is a Sweet Chili, specifically made to not be spicy and be sweet. We served it at a Chili bake off and I think the taste testers were quite happy that they had at least one chili that wasn’t making their tongue burn.
2 Pounds Hamburger
2 Cans Kidney Beans Rinsed and Drained
2 Cans of Mild Chili Beans (Don’t Drain)
1 Can Tomato Sauce
4 Heaping Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1/4th Cup Ketchup
1/4th Cup Dried Onion
- Brown hamburger and drain fat.
- Put all in crock-pot and mix well.
- Cook on high for an hour.
