Life is crazy, busy and hectic enough without needing to worry about what you are going to make for dinner each night.
Taking advantage of your slow cooker allows you to plan ahead and put your meal in the Crock-Pot in the morning and go about the rest of your day and come home to dinner ready to serve later that day.
We at CrockPotLadies.com aim to provide easy and quick slow cooker recipes using easily found ingredients that result in finished dishes that you would be proud to serve to your family and friends for any occasion.
Meet the Crock-Pot Ladies…

Heidi Kennedy (Owner) – Hi, I am Heidi, the owner of CrockPotLadies.com. I founded this blog in 2011 with the sole goal of sharing delicious and EASY slow cooker recipes with the world. I started my online career back in 2003 as the owner of a popular online forum dedicated to teaching people how to save money using coupons.
In 2011 I decided to start a food blog as a fun outlet for sharing my passion of cooking and feeding my large family. For about 6 years there was an overlap of running the coupon forum and this food blog but after 10 years running the forum I decided that I was ready to sell my coupon forum and become a full time food blogger.
I am a mother of 5 children (ages 30, 24, 19 and 17 year old twins) and I reside in the wonderful state of Wyoming with my husband of 24 years. I also have two beautiful grandsons.
As a busy mom I am always looking for new ways to save time and money. Slow cooking fits the bill and allows me to prepare hot and satisfying meals without slaving over a hot stove.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking (of course), reading, learning new things everyday, gardening, living a simple life and spending quality time with my family, friends and pets.
Crock-Pot Ladies Contributors
Emilee Prenevost (Photography) – When CrockPotLadies was first started food photography was not a priority, as such many of the older recipes on the site have really bad photos or no photos at all. Emilee is in charge of photographing or re-photographing older recipes and giving them a much needed face-lift. We try to republish these newly updated recipes 1 to 2 times a week.
Marci Loehner (Video & Photography) – Marci from Creative Content Systems is in charge of food videos plus some photos for CrockPotLadies and has provided us with some great “Tasty Style” videos that are so much fun to watch. Marci is also a food blogger in her own right and blogs over at Recipes By The Mouth. Be sure to click on over to see all the great food videos here at Crock-Pot Ladies.
