If you want to add in other ingredients do you add them before or after cooking the granola in the crockppt?
Hi Joan,
They would be best added afterwards. Hope you enjoy!
What could you replace the butter with for a vegan recipe?
I’m sure you could use a plant based butter.
I followed the recipe as written but my granola is not crispy or crunchy, just wondering if should spread it out on a cookie sheet and ‘toast ‘ it in the oven?
I am sorry your granola did not get crispy. Go ahead and toast it in the oven on a cookie sheet.
Is the nutrition information for the entire batch or for a single serving (if so, how much is a serving size)
Hi Kristin, the nutritional information listed on all the recipes on our website are per serving. And a serving size is the entire batch divided by the number of servings listed in the recipe box. So for this recipe for Crock-Pot Basic Granola a serving size is 12th of the finished batch of granola.
