Slow Cooker Tangy Cranberry Party Meatballs

With just three simple ingredients these tasty meatballs are quick to toss in the slow cooker and serve at your next party or get together.

This is one of those classic recipes that everyone has made before and the reason is, it is good. Frozen meatballs (or you can do homemade if you prefer) are tossed in the slow cooker with a can of cranberry sauce and some chili sauce. And then everything is left to cook away for a few hours.

What you end up with is meaty goodness in a sweet yet tangy sauce.

Perfection!

You can serve these meatballs to your party guests straight from the slow cooker by just setting out some cool party toothpicks and let your friends and family serve themselves. Or, you can pass around trays of the meatballs skewered on toothpicks and let your guests grab a meatball (or two) from the trays.

However you serve them, these meatballs are always a huge hit with everyone who tries them!

Yes, this recipe is easily doubled. You will want to use a larger sized slow cooker, making sure the meatballs do not fill the crockpot more than 2/3 of the way full. You may need to cook the meatballs a little bit longer but not too much.

How Long Can These Meatballs Be Kept On The Warm Setting?

If you are serving these meatballs at a party and want to keep them warm while serving. Set your slow cooker to the WARM setting for up to 4 hours.

  • 32 Ounces Frozen Meatballs
  • 14 Ounces Canned Whole Cranberry Sauce
  • 12 Ounces Chili Sauce (Such As Heinz Brand)

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredient in a 5 quart or larger slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours until the meatballs are hot and the sauce is nice and bubbly.
  • Turn slow cooker to WARM to serve to your guests.
  • Enjoy!
