Crock-Pot Little Smokies

We decided to have an appetizer meal, where everything consisted of appetizers.  Of course on the top of the list had to be the Little Smokies!  My kids love these.  I allowed my daughter to help out with it, as it’s such an easy recipe.  Note to self, explain better what the difference of 3/4ths CUP and 3/4ths teaspoon to daughter.  Luckily they still tasted good.

Little Smokies


1 Package of Little Smokies (28 oz)
3/4 Cup Ketchup
2/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1 1/2 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
2/3 Cup Barbecue Sauce


  1. Use a smaller crock-pot if you have one.
  2. Pour all ingredients into the crock-pot (except toothpicks) and stir well, making sure all Little Smokies are covered in sauce.
  3. Cook on low for 4 hours.
  4. Can be cooked on high for 2 hours, but watch carefully so the Little Smokies don't get burned on the sides.
  5. You want the Little Smokies are warmed thoroughly and we used fun toothpicks to eat them off our plates.
