Crock-Pot Sweet And Spicy Meatballs Recipe
Ingredients
Meatballs
- 12 ounces Currant Jelly
- 12 ounces Grape Jelly
- 12 ounces Chili Sauce
- 12 ounces Cocktail Sauce
- 3 pounds Frozen Meatballs (pre-cooked, turkey, beef or pork (store bought or homemade))
Topping (Optional)
- ¼ cup Green Onion
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the current jelly, grape jelly, chili sauce and cocktail sauce until well combined.
- Add meatballs to the bottom of a 5 quart or larger slow cooker.
- Pour sauce mixture over meatballs and stir to coat the meatballs in the sauce.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hours or on HIGH for 6 hours.
- Sprinkle with sliced green onion right before serving to add a pop of color if desired. (Optional)

Recipe sounds great but I think you have the high and low times reversed! And even at that it seems like a long time to cook these. 6 to 10 hrs if the meatballs are already cooked?
The longer times allow the sauce to thicken. It doesnt affect the meatballs at all.
I use a large jar of salsa and peach one apricot preserves all day with the frozen meatballs. Also tasty!
