Pressure Cooker 3 Ingredient Cheesy Ravioli
Sometimes you just need an easy recipe to make for your family for dinner. When you don’t have a lot of time to chop vegetables, or brown meat or follow a bunch of lengthy recipe steps.
For super busy days this recipe for cheesy ravioli made in your Crock-Pot Express Multi-Cooker (or other brand of electric pressure cooker such as an InstantPot) is one of the easiest and quickest recipes that I think you can make.
As the name implies all you need is three ingredients…a bag of frozen cheese ravioli, a jar of your favorite marinara sauce and some shredded mozzarella cheese.
You can use any brand of frozen ravioli you like and any brand of marinara sauce (or you can even use our recipe for Crock-Pot marinara sauce). And, you can shred your own mozzarella cheese or grab a bag of the pre-shredded kind at the grocery store!
Then just layer the ingredients in your electric pressure cooker, close the lid and vent and cook it for just 4 minutes on HIGH.
There will be a little extra time needed to allow the pressure cooker to come up to pressure and then a little time after cooking to release the pressure. But from start to finish you are looking at a quick 30 minute meal.
Serve the cheesy ravioli with a side salad for a great weeknight dinner that the whole family is going to love!

You can do this either on the stove-top or in the Crock-Pot Express using the BROWN/SAUTE function. Then drain the meat to remove excess cooking fat and layer the cooked meat between the layers of ravioli, sauce and cheese.
No, in this recipe you add the ravioli while they are still frozen.
Yes you can! simply swap out 25 ounces of frozen tortellini for the 25 ounces of frozen ravioli called for in the recipe. Nothing else in the recipe needs to be changed.

You shouldn’t get a burn notice on your IP Lois. There is liquid in the recipe from the marinara sauce.
I want to make this in the crockpot as the title says but it keeps talking about a pressure cooker? Help! thanks, Cindy
This recipe is for the Crock-Pot Express which is a pressure cooker. Much like the InstantPot you can pressure cook as well as slow cook in this fantastic appliance.
Do you think a bag of the fresh ravioli would work the same?
Hi Kristal, while we have not tested this recipe using fresh ravioli I think it should be okay. You may want to reduce the cooking time a little bit just so that the ravioli are not overcooked. If you give it a try please come back and let us know how it turned out for you!
Can i cook it in a non- pressure crockpot?
Hi Tiffany, this recipe has not been tested in a regular Crock-Pot, only a Crock-Pot Express Multi-Cooker. However, you may want to try this recipe for Crock-Pot Ravioli Casserole which is cooked in a regular Crock-Pot.
