When you need to make up a lot of taco meat pull out your slow cooker and try this easy recipe. Perfect for a taco bar party or, make up a bunch of taco meat in your slow cooker and package it up into freezer bags and pop them into the freezer so you are ready to serve your family tacos any night of the week!
With only 4 ingredients this is a super simple recipe to make and of course you can change it up to suit your families tastes. For example, swap out taco seasoning mix for the chili powder or add some chopped onions, garlic and jalapenos to kick the flavor us a notch or two!

Crock-Pot Ground Beef Taco Meat Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound Extra Lean Ground Beef (cooked and drained)
- 1 cup Salsa
- ¼ cup Hot Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a 4 to 6 quart slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 1 – 2 hours or until the taco meat is nice and hot and the flavors have melded together.
- Reduce heat to the WARM setting to keep the meat warm for serving.
