If your love the biscuits at Red Lobster then you are going to adore this quick, easy and delicious recipe for Crock-Pot Cheddar Garlic Bread! This quick bread is cooked in your slow cooker and is full of that restaurant flavor you crave without heating up the oven!

Crock-Pot Cheddar Garlic Bread

Slow Cooker Cheddar Garlic Bread

My kids love the biscuits served at Red Lobster. It is one of their favorite things they look forward to when we do go (besides the tank of fresh lobsters in the lobby). This is a copy-cat Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuit recipe but made in the form of a loaf…in your slow cooker!

This loaf of bread comes out tasting just like the Red Lobster biscuits! It is good warm by itself or with a little butter or honey on them.

Bisquick is a baking mix. You should be able to find a recipe for it on the internet. It’s easy to mix up.

      It’s a biscuit mix… (biscuits quick… bisquick)
      10 cups all-purpose flour
      1/2 cup baking powder
      2 tablespoons white sugar
      2 teaspoons salt
      1 1/4 cups vegetable oil

Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and blend with a fork.
Store tightly covered in a cool dry place.
      Makes 11 cups.

I use a pan when I cook bread in the crock-pot, BUT you do not have to. Cook it right in the crock.

You can purchase them in the stores by the foil and ziploc type baggies. Reynolds sells some. They are pretty much a plastic bag that fits in the crock-pot that you can cook in. Then you toss the liners when you are done in the garbage. Easy cleanup

I want to try this today while I’m snowed in in Georgia. What is the temp setting for the oven if doing a loaf, and how long? 350°? 30 mins?

350 and maybe 30 minutes. normal baking time is half of what the crock-pot calls for, but biscuits wouldnt take 1 hour. so try 30 minutes, but keep an eye on it.

    Hi,
You don’t specify a temperature for baking. I doubled the recipe to make a full loaf and at 350 degrees it cooked in around an hour.

It sounds funny, but yes you can use a regular cooking pan in the crock-pot , as long as it fits. If you do not have a pan that fits in yours, just use a little oil and spray the inside of the crock-pot and then add the mixture. You can cook it the crock-pot itself.

Hi Arlene, I am not sure why you are unable to print our recipes. I just tested and was able to print this recipe off just fine by clicking the print icon on the recipe box which then opened the print dialog on my computer where I was able to print the recipe out.

Can you perhaps explain in a little bit more detail what is happening for you when you try to print the recipe. Also knowing what browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc) and the version may be helpful to try and troubleshoot what may be going on. – Thanks!
