Notes
Note 1 - Nutritional information is based on 2 wings per person when served as an appetizer and includes consuming all of the sauce in the slow cooker.Note 2 - We estimate that there are 8 wings per pound, thus 2 pounds of chicken wings is 16 wings. At 2 wings per serving. Yields of wings per pound will of course vary.Note 3 - Some chicken contains more water content which will release as the wings are cooking in the slow cooker. Thus your sauce may not be as thick as you would like it to be once the wings are done cooking. To remedy this, simply pour the sauce from the slow cooker into a saucepan and simmer it on the stovetop for a few minutes until it is thickened to your liking.
