This slow cooker recipe for baked beans is perfect for feeding a large crowd. Great for potlucks, cookouts and other get-togethers. The beans are flavored perfectly with bacon, onion, BBQ sauce and spices for some darn good baked beans!
In a skillet on the stove-top cook the bacon until crispy, drain of paper towels and then chop bacon into bite sized pieces.
Add chopped bacon and all remaining ingredients to a 6 quart or larger slow cooker and stir to combine.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours.
Notes
If after several hours of cooking the beans seem a little too soupy, you can prop the lid of the slow cooker open a little bit with the handle of a wooden spoon to allow some of the excess liquid to evaporate.
