Start your morning off on the right foot with a hearty bowl of pumpkin pie flavored steel cut oats in this simple recipe! Using the Crock-Pot Express multi-cooker (or any other brand of electric pressure cooker) makes quick work for this yummy fall breakfast treat!
Add all ingredients to the insert of a 6 quart Crock-Pot Express multi-cooker.
Stir together well.
Close and lock lid, making sure valve is set to sealing.
Set on MANUAL, HIGH pressure, for 10 minutes.
When time is up, let the pressure naturally release for 10 minutes. When that time has passed, carefully turn the valve to vent to release any remaining pressure.
Carefully remove lid and set aside.
Stir the oatmeal until it is all thoroughly combined.
Spoon into bowl and top with a sprinkle of additional brown sugar if desired and enjoy!

This recipe may also be made using quick cooking steel cut oats by simply reducing the cooking time to 8 minutes.
