Place dry rice in a strainer in the sink and rinse rice under cool running water to rinse off extra starch from the rice. Allow the water to drain off.
Place rinsed rice in the insert of your Crock-Pot Express.
Add 2 1/2 cups of water and stir.
Close lid, making sure vent is closed.
Turn Crock-Pot Express on, press the "Rice/Risotto" button, and then press the "Start/Stop" button to start the cooking.
Once the rice is done cooking, let the Crock-Pot Express natural release for 5 to 10 minutes, then quick release the vent to release the rest of the steam out.
Remove lid, fluff the rice up with a fork and enjoy!
