Add the steel cut oats and water to the insert of your Crock-Pot Express Multi-Cooker.
Close and lock the lid, making sure the valve is set to sealing.
Set on MANUAL, HIGH PRESSURE, for 4 minutes. Press START.
Allow the pressure cooker to come to pressure (takes about 15 to 20 minutes) and allow the oats to cook for the 4 minutes.
When the time is up, let the pressure cooker naturally release for 10 minutes.
Carefully turn the valve to venting to release any remaining pressure. Carefully remove the lid and set aside.
Stir the oatmeal before serving, topping with your preferred sweetener and toppings of choice and enjoy!
Notes
*Non-Stick Note - Because the Crock-Pot Express version that we have comes with a non-stick insert there is no need to do anything before cooking your oats. However if you are using a different version of the Crock-Pot Express or another brand of electric pressure cooker (InstaPot, Cuisinart, MooSoo, Presto, etc.) that does not have a non-stick insert you may wish to spray the insert with non-stick cooking spray or lightly coat with butter)
