Crock-Pot Sweet Lemon Tea

  1. To a 6 quart or larger slow cooker, add the water, cover and allow the water to come to a simmer on HIGH heat for about 2 to 3 hours.
  2. Add the chamomile tea bags and allow the tea to steep for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and discard.
  4. Turn slow cooker to the WARM setting and add the lemon juice, honey and sliced lemons,
  5. Ladle hot tea into mugs to serve setting out additional sweetener and slices of lemon.
  6. For iced tea, turn slow cooker off and allow the tea to cool off for a few hours and pour into a gallon pitcher, adding ice cubes to chill.
Recipe Notes

You could also do this with oranges or limes. I happened to have lemons on hand, so I went with the lemon.
