If you don’t like wine or don’t use alcohol in your recipes, I have read blogs that made a similar recipe on the stove-top without alcohol. This is pretty sweet, so if you’d like I think your safe cutting back on the sugar to 1/2 cup. Sour cream is not a big fan of the crock-pot so adding it in to the food processor or blender at the end helps get rid of any “clumps”.
