Crock-Pot Lemonade Moonshine Recipe
With just three ingredients (plus water) this lemonade moonshine recipe is a super tasty and refreshing adult beverage that is made easy in the slow cooker. Make this several weeks to months ahead of time that you want to start drinking it so that the flavors can really mellow out. Drink the moonshine as shots or mix into cocktails.

Ingredients
  • 6Cups Water
  • 5Medium LemonsZested And Juiced
  • 2Cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2Cups 190 Proof Everclear Grain AlcoholOr Vodka
Instructions
  1. In a 6 quart or larger slow cooker add the water, lemon juice and sugar.
  2. Cover and cook on HIGH for two hours.
  3. Unplug slow cooker and allow mixture to cool until room temperature.
  4. Once liquid is cooled, strain mixture through a fine meshed strainer to remove the lemon zest.
  5. Add 2 cups Everclear grain alcohol or vodka and stir to combine.
  6. Fill canning jars with liquid and place a lid and ring on jars.
  7. Allow jars to sit at room temperature for at least 30 days before drinking to allow the flavors to mellow and develop.
Recipe Notes

There is no need to actually can (water bath can or pressure can) the jars of moonshine. The high alcohol content as well as the sugar makes this moonshine shelf stable for a long time without spoiling.
