Crock-Pot Cranberry Applesauce Recipe
If this applesauce is too tart for your taste feel free to add a little sugar, honey, or sweetener of your choice to sweeten it up a little bit. Start with a small amount of sweetener and increase gradually until it meets your sweetness preference.

Ingredients
  • 10whole Applessuch as golden delicious
  • 12ounces Fresh Cranberries
Instructions
  1. Peel, core and roughly chop apples and place in a 5 quart crockpot.
  2. Rinse and drain cranberries and add to apples and stir to combine.
  3. Cover crock-pot and cook on LOW for 4 – 6 hours or until everything is cooked and saucy.
  4. Add sweetener of your choice if desired, a little at a time and taste until you get the sweetness you want.
  5. For a chunky applesauce leave as is or blend in a blender or with a stick blender for a smoother consistency.
Recipe Notes

Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 1 year or can in jars in a water bath canner following canning instructions for regular applesauce.
