Snack away on this amazing Chex mix recipe that is flavored with yummy dried apples and cinnamon. Slightly sweet, this snack mix is hard to resist munching away on.

  1. In microwave safe bowl, combine butter, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and brown sugar.
  2. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute or until butter is melted.
  3. Add both types of Chex cereal and pecans to a 5 quart or larger slow cooker.
  4. Evenly pour the butter and brown sugar mixture over the dry cereal in the slow cooker and gently stir to coat all of the cereal in the butter mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  6. Pour mixture onto a rimmed baking sheet lined with wax paper or parchment paper.
  7. Sprinkle chopped dried apples over mixture and allow to cool completely.
  8. Store apple cinnamon snack mix in an air-tight container or zippered food storage bag for up to 1 week.
  9. Snack away, and enjoy!
