Crock-Pot Brown Sugar Pulled Pork

  1. I find a liner, with at least the first part of the cooking very helpful.
  2. Trim as much fat off of the pork loin as possible.
  3. Cut into a few large chunks so it will fit well into the Crock-Pot.
  4. In a bowl mix the Brown Sugar, Paprika, Salt, Garlic Powder.
  5. Rub the Dry Seasonings mixture into the pork loin pieces and then place into the crock.
  6. Place the sliced onion around the meat.
  7. Use about a cup of BBQ sauce and squirt around the pork loin.
  8. Take a couple of tablespoons of water and lightly drizzle around the ends of the pork loins that are near the crock walls.
  9. Cover and cook for about 6 hours.
  10. When it is cooked thoroughly pull the meat and onions out and place into a bowl.
  11. Use several forks and shred with your hands.
  12. Mix the BBQ sauce back into the shredded pork.
  13. Take the liner out carefully and discard.
  14. Replace with a new liner or just add to the crock itself.
  15. Keep warm until you are ready to serve and serve on a bun of your choice.
