Crock-Pot Brown Sugar Pulled Pork was a labor of love that I bestowed on our church when I was designated as the person who would be making the food for one of our summer parties. Typically we have done “cold hamburgers” and “colder hotdogs” and I was a bit sick-of-it, so I offered to cook the whole thing if I could control and choose what I was doing. I like to be in control! I was given an enormous amount of Pork, 18lbs. Thankfully I have 4 Crock-Pots. I also cooked a yummy Baked Bean Recipe Here for the side dish.
Since most of you won’t be needing to cook 18 Pounds of Pork in one setting I have cut down the recipe into a 5 pound recipe. The great thing with Pulled pork is it’s easy to expand and to trim. I do suggest, if you ever need to cook that much meat at once, to have more then one crock! I could not of done it without all of mine with my newest purchased from Amazon .The newer technology that flips it over to warm once it is cooked is so nice and helps keep the food from being over cooked. Love that feature!
