Crock-Pot Basic Baked Oatmeal Recipe
This basic baked oatmeal requires no oven because it is baked right in your slow cooker. Serve up a slice of this hearty baked oatmeal for breakfast any day of the week!

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Stir in the milk, melted butter and beaten eggs and combine until all of the dry ingredients are wet and everything is well mixed.
  3. Spray the insert of either a 3.5 quart casserole slow cooker OR a 6 quart or larger oval or round slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  4. Pour in the oatmeal mixture and spread evenly.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 to 3 hours, or until done in the middle.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
Recipe Notes

*Cooking Note – Using a casserole slow cooker this baked oatmeal should be cooked in about 2 hours. However, if using a deeper slow cooker the oatmeal may take a little bit longer. We recommend cooking the oatmeal for 2 hours, checking for doneness and then cooking for additional time only if needed.

*Serving Note – This baked oatmeal is perfect as-is, however if you want it is also excellent topped with fresh fruit such as berries or bananas and perhaps a drizzle of maple syrup or honey.
