Crock-Pot Baked Potato Tin Foil Dinner
So this was our Mother’s Day dinner. I had seen various similar recipes around but they were all for the oven. Of course, in my kitchen we try to use the oven as little as possible, so I figured we must find a way to do a potato tin foil dinner in the slow cooker.
It’s rather easy to do normal baked potatoes in your slow cooker, but I wanted to have the yummiest, most sensational dinner we could (too bad I had to cook it!).
With this recipe I made 8 baked potatoes and divided it up between two slow cookers.
But you can plan this recipe around however many people you are cooking for and adjust the recipe accordingly. Use the ingredients and amounts as a guide but there will be no hard or fast rule with this recipe. You can’t really foul it up.
By the way, pretty sure this was the best smelling recipe I have ever made! We were drooling by the time it was done.
