Crock-Pot Bacon Jam Recipe
This recipe yields approximately 3 cups of bacon jam with a serving size of 1 tablespoon. Serve bacon jam on hamburgers, hot dogs, bagels or your favorite sandwich.

Ingredients

  1. On stovetop, cook bacon.
  2. Allow bacon to cool on paper towels.
  3. Pour off all bacon grease but 2 tablespoons.
  4. Add in diced onions and garlic cook until onions are translucent.
  5. Add in apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, maple syrup and coffee.
  6. Cook until the mixture begins to boil.
  7. While you wait for mixture to boil, chop bacon into small pieces.
  8. Then add bacon in to mixture once it begins to boil.
  9. Allow mixture to come back to a boil.
  10. Pour mixture into a 6 quart crock-pot and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or until the liquid is thick and syrupy.
  11. All the jam to cool.
  12. Pour into a food processor and pulse until mixture is a smooth consistency.
  13. Store in air tight container in the refrigerator.
