Crock-Pot Mulled Wine
A warm adult hot punch made with wine, cider and spices.

  1. Combine wine, corn syrup, honey, water and spices in a 6 quart or larger slow cooker.
  2. Remove the zest from the orange with a vegetable peeler and add to pot.
  3. Thinly slice the remainder of the orange, removing any seeds, and set aside for serving.
  4. Stir well to combine.
  5. Cover crock-pot and cook 2-3 hours on low, stirring once during cooking.
  6. Remove orange peel and cinnamon stick before serving.
  7. To serve, place an orange slice in bottom of each mug and ladle hot wine over.
