Slow Cooker Sweet Brussel Sprouts

This easy side dish recipe for Brussel Sprouts has just 3-ingredients (plus a little salt) and really tastes fantastic. The sweetness from the brown sugar offsets the slightly bitter flavors naturally found in cruciferous vegetables like Brussel Sprouts.

We love the serve these tender vegetable nuggets with Crock-Pot Herb Roasted Chicken but they also pair well with just about any main dish.

Brussels sprouts are slow cooked to perfection with olive oil, salt and a little brown sugar for a delicious veggie side dish that is perfect with just about any meal.

  • 3 Quart Crock-Pot to 5 quart Crock-Pot
  • Dry Measuring Cups And Spoons
  • Small Mixing Bowl
  • Wooden Spoon

Ingredients

  • 32 Ounces Brussels Sprouts
  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ¼ Teaspoon Kosher Salt (or to taste)

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl mix together the brussels sprouts, brown sugar, olive oil and salt and toss to coat.
    32 Ounces Brussels Sprouts –½ Cup Brown Sugar –4 Tablespoons Olive Oil –¼ Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • Add the brussels sprouts to a 3 to 5 quart slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours or until the sprouts are tender.
