Crock-Pot Basic Pumpkin Puree

  • Pumpkin (skin peeled, seeds removed, cut into chunks)
  1. Wash the outside of the pumpkin to remove any dirt.
  2. Cut Pumpkin in half and remove the seeds and spaghetti like insides (large spoon works nicely)
  3. Cut away the outside skin and then large chunk the pumpkin.
  4. Place pumpkin chunks in crock-pot.
  5. Cook on low for 8 hours until pumpkin is soft.
  6. Remove pumpkin and puree in a blender.
  7. Freeze in portion size containers.
