This is a family favorite at Holiday’s.   A cousin has been brining these for the last two years, and they are gone before she leaves.

Crock-Pot Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes

  • 1 Tub Sour Cream (8 Oz.)
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Block Cream Cheese (8 Oz.)
  • 1 (26 – 27 oz.) Box Mashed Potatoes
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 3 Cups Water
  1. In a saucepan, heat water and butter. Bring to a slight boil.
  2. Add milk, cream cheese, sour cream and garlic and stir until warm.
  3. Add in potato flakes and stir until there are no lumps.
  4. Add potato mixture to a 3 qt crock-pot.
  5. Heat on low for 3 hours.
  6. Serve from crock-pot.
