Today I have the honor of being featured onFrugal Antics of a Harried Homemaker for the “Let Me Introduce the Improv-ers” series. Kristen who runs Frugal Antics hosts a monthly recipe linky called the Improv Challenge. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you should! She assigns other bloggers like myself the same two ingredients and we all have to come up with an original recipe using those two ingredients. Now you can imagine some of the fun I’ve had trying to do this AND keep it in the crock-pot. Each month even when I think “oh there’s no way I can make this work”, I generally surprise even myself coming up with something like Crock-Pot Strawberry Soup. Seeing what all the other “Improv-ers” are making each month is the best part and I am constantly in awe of the other bloggers and their mad improv skills in the kitchen.
When Kristen asked for folks who were participating in the Improv Challenge to be featured on her blog, of course I jumped at the chance. She’s kind enough to let me ramble on about myself and what we do here at Crock-Pot Ladies, you know I’m going to go for it. So please go check out a little bit about me and an easy recipe I’ve shared on her blog for Crock-Pot Mashed Cauliflower. Make sure you tell her Tara sent you!
SAHM mom of 3 in Central MA who enjoys cooking and blogging. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and am not fond of measuring. My grandmother just added a "pinch of this" and a "pat of that" so that's how I cook!
