I have made these with a turkey breast I got at the store, and also with just leftover turkey. You can also switch it up and use chicken in place of the turkey. I used sourdough bread and grilled it like a Panini.
This can be made into a freezer meal. What would be nice about this freezer meal is it is a quick one. So you come home from work, and toss it in crock-pot , clean up and then eat.
Freezer Meal: Add shredded turkey, parmesan cheese, and Caesar Dressing to ziploc. Write on bag: add to crock-pot and cook for 1 hour (thawed) or 2 hours (frozen)
Crock-Pot Turkey Caesar Parmesan Pull Aparts
1.5-2lbs Turkey, raw
3/4 Cup Caesar Dressing
1/2 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Sliced Sourdough Bread
- Add turkey to crock-pot.
- Cook on low for 2 hours.
- Remove turkey and using a fork, shred the turkey.
- Drain any juice from crock-pot.
- Add turkey back to crock-pot, and add in Caesar Dressing, Parmesan Cheese and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Cook on low for an additional hour.
