Crock-Pot BBQ Ribs

Crock-Pot BBQ Ribs

Ingredients

3 lbs. Country Style Pork Ribs
1 Tablespoon Oil
1 Large Onion, Quartered & Sliced
1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Ketchup
2 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Mustard
3 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
2 Cloves Garlic, finely chopped (I just use minced garlic)
1 Teaspoon Celery Seed
Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In skillet, brown ribs in oil on all sides (I love to BBQ them 1st for a smoky taste!).
  2. Transfer ribs to crock pot.
  3. Add onion slices.
  4. In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs and onions.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

    This rib recipe is awesome. I can’t believe how tender they came out. It seems like a lot of soy sauce but is actually okay & I think reduced sodium soy sauce would work well too. I forgot to add the onions but didn’t notice until the next day when I was filing the recipe. So can definitely be made without!
