We love doing Ribs in the Crock-Pot because they turn out so tender and easy to eat.  It’s nice to be able to eat ribs without being covered heat to toe with BBQ sauce.  Now normally when you put veggies, your supposed to put them at the bottom, but it doesn’t work so well with Ribs, so they end up on the top and I just cover them with BBQ sauce to give them moisture so they cook.

Crock-Pot BBQ Baby Back Ribs

BBQ Baby Back Ribs with Onions and Potatoes. With the BBQ Sauce go as Spicy or Un-spicy as you like! The potatoes will have BBQ sauce on them for moisture but they really don’t end up taking on the flavor.
Ingredients
  • 2 Racks of Baby Back Ribs
  • 1 Bottle of BBQ Sauce (spicy or regular)
  • 2 Yellow Onions Quartered
  • 5 Potatoes (you can omit this or do less or more) scrubbed but not peeled
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Mrs. Dash Table Blend
  • Large Crock-Pot
Instructions
  1. Put thin layer of BBQ Sauce in.
  2. Put one Rack in upside down.
  3. Season with Salt, Pepper and Mrs. Dash on Ribs.
  4. Put coat of BBQ Sauce on it.
  5. Flip over.
  6. Repeat on top side season with Salt, Pepper and Mrs. Dash.
  7. Put coat of BBQ Sauce on it.
  8. Take half of one Onion and place on a few spots on Ribs.
  9. Start with other Rib, turn on Back season with Salt, Pepper and Mrs. Dash.
  10. Coat with BBQ Sauce.
  11. Flip Over.
  12. Season with Salt, Pepper and Mrs. Dash.
  13. Coat with BBQ Sauce (start being very liberal with the BBQ sauce).
  14. Take one Full Onion and position around the Rack.
  15. Then take the potatoes and place over the ribs.
  16. Put the remaining half onion over in empty spots around the potatoes.
  17. Squirt BBQ sauce over the potatoes (they need the sauce for moisture to cook properly).
  18. Cook for 4 hours on high
